Bench Bliss

Hubby's farm table business slowed a bit last month so I asked him to build a potting bench that I had seen pinned on Pinterest.  It turned out wonderful but was too large for our breezeway so in to the shop it went after much debate as to how I needed a work bench in my garage that would inspire me to go to work each day.
He had built this pretty bench a few years ago and I wrote about it here.  We used lots of pieces that had been laying around the garage but again off to the shop it went to thrill somebody else.
Do you hear a little whine in my words?  Poor pitiful me right?  Well, when he finally pried my fingers and body loose from the first potting bench as he was loading it on the truck to take it to the shop he promised me he would build me another and that it would be far better than any he had ever done before.  I trusted him and turned loose.
And here she is and she is going nowhere!  I am chaining my leg around her.  She is mine!

Linking to these wonderful parties today.

Calling all Garden Fairies

The weather has been glorious here for the past several weeks so hubby and  I have been busy getting the flowerbeds and garden ready.   It's time to put down fresh mulch which always makes things look so fresh and clean.  I would love to plant an abundance of flowers and vegetables but have held back as my daughter will soon be having her baby and she wants her momma there and if she had her way I would be there for a year.  lol Hubby has a full work schedule to keep him busy enough so I won't trouble him with a gazillion pots to water in my absence.  I am counting on the roses and hydrangeas and azaleas and iris and a nice sprinkle of fairy dust to keep everything thriving and in bloom.
Just some inspiration for spring time past.
I hope you are having a beautiful weekend.
Hugs
Becky

Art

It started as a little game on facebook.  My friend had placed a picture of an artist on her page and by liking it you were then given an artist to look up and post their work on your page.   The idea was to fill up facebook with art instead of selfies and food pictures.
I decided to join in and to my delight as I found myself looking for artists to assign those friends of mine that joined in, I found such amazing artists and such beautiful art.
I found this artist,  Vicente Romero Redondo.
They are lovely paintings aren't they?
They make you want to step right in to his work.  So step right in my friends and I think you too will discover what Twyla Tharp said  best.....
