Our Christmas Tour 2013
We only opened the first 4 rooms of the house as there are still a few rooms in the works.
This is just a small sampling of the many pictures that I took this year. The old house has certainly come a long way and made a few changes since we began our work in 2006. It certainly has been a sweet labor of love. I hope you have enjoyed the tour and that you and your family have a very Merry Christmas.

Your house is my dream home. Lately I've been loving the peacock colors too. Thanks for sharing your home. Katharine
ReplyDeleteI just love your Home. It is so wonderful and you have it just perfect for Christmas. The cream toned chairs and turquoise tree are just my taste. Thank you for sharing such beauty! Have a Very Merry Christmas! Karen
ReplyDeleteI'll say it again, your home is just gorgeous! Everytime I see your header with that big old southern comfort porch, I just melt. Fabulous in every room. Happy holiday blessings to you and yours.

So many lovely, christmassy decorations! You have a beautiful home.
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend and Christmas!
Greetings from Finland,

Your home is like a beautiful wedding cake -- both inside and out. It makes me miss the Victorian home I once had even more.
ReplyDeleteWe used to pour over the Sears Wish Book too. We would circle the item and put our names beside it. With 5 kids that book really got marked up!
Absolutely beautiful! Thank you for sharing your home! Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteEverything looks so beautiful Becky! Merry Christmas xoxo

Thank you for opening your home Becky!
ReplyDeleteEverything is so beautifully decorated but, like you, my favorite is the mantle in shades of greys and whites.
Wishing you a blessed and PEACEFUL Christmas!
Suzy
Oh my goodness, what a gorgeous home you live in. I came over to see you after you left a comment on my Christmas at The Secret Garden Tea room. You house could have a tea room and my friends and I would fly out to do lunch! I also like what you said in your profile about believing in eternity as it will take an eternity for me to complete all of the great projects running around in my head.
ReplyDeleteChristmas blessings to you and I look forward to seeing more of your beautiful home.
Patti
So dreamy!!!!!
ReplyDeleteHappy Pink Saturday, Becky. It made my day to find you joining us. I miss seeing you every week.
ReplyDeleteYour home is absolutely breathtaking. It must bring you so much joy.♥
WOW! Your victorian home is lovely. We live in an 1890's home and have many of the same fireplace mantels as you do. While I love your painted ones, ours are still wonderfully original oak ones and will not be painted as long as I live here! (Just a preference in taste.) Since they are very similar, I wondered if you ever decorated the upper part of your mantels? I did for the first time this year, with all natural greenery and really enjoyed having it decorated both up and down. Our house was/is a labor of love also, so I send best wishes on your rehabbing yours. Thanks for sharing, Vicki in Louisville Ky.
ReplyDeleteThis house has an abundance of charm! I know it's hard work, but how rewarding to have something with so much character as a starting place. I look forward to seeing more!
