They Filled Their Space With Lace

A Beautiful Space Graced with Lace is the start of my post today.
For decades lace has held a special place in so many facets of our lives.  If you think about it, more than likely it is an everyday part of yours as you slipped from your nightgown this morning and slipped into your clothes.  Did the soft stream of sunlight greet you today through beautiful lace panels?  As you made up your bed did your pillowcases drip with lace trimmed edges? And if your answer is no, then I would challenge you just to see if you can go a week without lace making it appearance at least a few times everywhere you go
It's presence can be found in the loveliest of displays from flea markets to fabulous wedding and specialty boutiques.  There simply is a lure for lace with women and women my friend are everywhere.
Most of us will have plans sometime this year to attend a wedding and just try to count all the places that lace will grace that day. If you are a bride to be or a mother of the bride chances are you are in search for this lovely embellishment to either wear or decorate with.
Vintage themed wedding are so popular now and with Pinterest boards displaying so many wonderful ideas for lace could we run the risk of a vintage lace shortage?  May this never be!
Can you imagine a world without lace?  Gasp!!!!
The thought makes me feel faint.  Good thing I could faint here on this beautiful lace covered fainting couch.
Or sit here among the lace trimmed pillows in this tent created by such a Vintage Soul.

No matter where I go my camera and I stop for lace and if I am a really, really good girl,

Lace comes home with me!
