Sweet Inspiration

It has been awhile hasn't it? It's not that I haven't been around, as I have, looking here and there, dipping in and out, reading this and that being inspired by those of you who are the fabric of my sweet cozy comforter called blogland.
I don't know why I have been away so long from posting.
I have enjoyed many friendships that I have found here.
And Lord knows my camera card is loaded with so many wonderful pictures to share.
This is just a sweet taste of what is to follow.
You may recognized this wonderful place as what was once known as the Cat's Meow but now is Posh on Palm and owned by Mark and Susie Holt located in Sarasota FL.
This is always the place I run to when I need to surround myself with beauty as the posts to follow will prove. This is also the place that I will study carefully as I get ready to decorate the Shabby Old House for Christmas.
So join me once again and let's get reacquainted.
I've missed you!

Hi! I've missed your posts! Hope you are enjoying cooler weather down there. Isn't Susie and Mark's new shop wonderful? I love the ceiling and columns and chippy paint! (Wish I could drive down, but I've gotten a "real" job and won't get a vacation for a long time!)

Hi Becky, I had to rush over as soon as I seen this picture.... I just love this look... I think this style is with me forever. Boy, are you ever lucky that your able to stop in her shop for inspiration. If it was me... I think I would be there at least once a week to get my fix. hehe

Hey, I think I'm pulling a Becky... I haven't been around that much either and I think I'm due for a post.

Take Care and sending some hugs*

Becky...I am a newer reader to your blog..and think I signed up even when you weren't posting. I loved the Cat's Meow in Sarasota...and their home was adorable. I am glad that someone else has purchased it and keeps it going. Do you know what happened to the original owners of The Cat's Meow? I hope they are doing something similar-they certainly had an eye for it.

I can't wait to follow you closely and get to know you better- Diana

Hi. Thank you for your nice comments. I have fallen in love with that area of Indiana too. If it weren't for our kids, I wouldn't have known what we were missing. Now we have started an annual tradition of visiting the lakes, antiquing, and doing the Springfield, Ohio show. It was great fun. You should take the time and try to visit again. How blessed you were to grown up enjoying it. It is such a wonderful place. blessings, carrell

Welcome back! I've missed you...and wondered if you are still renovating.

One of these days, I'm going to make it down to visit this shop! I've read about it, seen gorgeous photos, but just haven't had a chance to get there. Soon. I hope. :)
