The Stocking Were Hung By The Chimney With Care

In Hope That My Blog Friends Soon Would Be There.
The mantels in the Shabby Old House are my favorites.
I couldn't wait to paint them and decorate them.

This is the mantel in the living room.

And I didn't use pink. Are you Surprised?

I am tempted to take the other stocking and instead of the pretty ornament stick a fishing lure in the lace. We are Lace and Lures ya know. lol
Hurry back I will have more.
Until then have a great day.

Hi Becky,
Thanks for visiting my blog and it's nice to meet you. I'm not sure which blog to comment on. Which do you check most often?
Your homes are lovely. Which location are you living in, if I might ask.
My Mom is near Tampa and my husband loves to fish. We may get down there for Christmas. He had some surgery in Oct. and we are still not sure what we are doing.

I know you must be very busy renovating. Hope to hear from you soon.

Beautiful. I always look forward to your post. Love seeing the transformation from old to new, but keeping the old charm alive and well.

Hey Becky,
I know I have to take a pic of the you know what! I loved the cotm, she also featured her at Easter and she was also in the Romantic Country magazine(last issue) but they didn't do her house justice in the mag, the lighting wasn't very good for some reason. I will talk to you soon (;

Positively gorgeous. I think I've told you before those are some of the prettiest mantles I have ever seen.
Love the stockings! You SHOULD put lace and lures on one!

You two have really come a long way. Such a dream home.
Can't wait to see what you do with the green sofa!

Love all the chandies too~

Hello Becky...and Thank You!! LOL (secret)

My decision to stop selling on Ebay was primarily based on the increase in fees and the new search feature for best match. It makes it very difficult for the small part time seller to get noticed. The large sellers get the best exposure. It just seems they are catering to the large sellers and pushing the little guys to a back corner. We are the dirty little secret. HAHA!! If you are selling something that is unique and there isn't a lot of listings then you would be ok. Since they have started the new search it seems you get very little exposure. The slump in sales may be due to the economy and some to ebays new policies. Either way I think it's time to find alternative venues for sellers. Have any ideas?

Love it! I mixture of whites is soo elegantpjust perfect! Did you paint the mantle for the first time or re-paint? I painted mine for the first time a couple of years ago-it was painful to pull that trigger but after that -I love it!
