All is Bright

We have been hanging chandeliers at the old house this week as the date for the Christmas tour is quickly approaching.  I found this chandelier at a garage sale and my heart just leaped in joy. The poor gal who was selling it was in tears as this had been a showpiece in her home in New York and would not work in her new home in Florida. She found some comfort in knowing that it would be hanging in our old house and I promised to do a post so that she could see it.   It really is perfect in the dining room.  I couldn't be happier.

I am joining Debra's Be Inspired Party today.

I sold all of this pattern after a divorce 10 years ago, and started Fresh :) I kept the one Demi cup and saucer that was my daughters piece when she played tea party at 3 and 4.
You can find this pattern still on the market new, and old settings at salvage stores they use to make it in England I think it is now produced in the U. S
I started collecting the pattern when I was 18 years old when I moved out on my own and the English and Victorian cottage was all the craze.

Here is the maker and the pattern...

Pattern: Old Country Roses
Maker: Royal Albert
Bone China
England
1962

Also the Royal Doulton maker.

Enjoy finding the pieces, replacement china.com will sell the pieces of desire, and retail china shops can order it for you, it's still in circulation and can be purchased at antique stores for the much older pieces from England or the company's newer pieces at retail made in the U.S I guess still the same makers, look and quality.

Thank you for taking the time to visit me, always enjoying the visits that fill my days y inspiration.
