Today as the morning light came streaming in my window I told myself that today I would play in it's glow. I quickly made up the bed and grabbed my camera and tried as I could to capture the feel of the morning.
There wasn't much time today to sit and drink coffee in my cozy chair I scurried around tweeking the room before getting ready to spend some time with my grandbabies.
I grabbed roses from a bouquet that my daughter gave me for Mother's Day and placed them here and there.
I am not so sure that I needed to turn on the light but I did.
I had been meaning to add the plaque to my bed for months and finally today I did.
One last look before I go out the door.

GORGEOUS---GORGEOUS!!!!! Every single detail in your bedroom made me gasp Becky! I think I want to trade :)
That plaque on your bed is perfection my friend. But I would have a hard choice if you made me pick my very favorite thing in this beautiful room!!!
Have a wonderful weekend!

MY GOODNESS! WHere have you been???? I want to thank you first of all, for coming to leave a comment today! And your home, what a sweet surprise! I too love the morning light that welcomes my morning into my studio; the studio window faces the east and the entire room is shrouded in white textures. I finally found how to play with the aperature on my Canon and the photos I get are much nicer now, having more of the pure white I enjoy. But your photos here are a beautiful mix of light and shadows, giving all the rich textures of your things such a lovely quality!
Thank you so much for coming to visit and I hope you get a chance to visit more of the France posts! Anita

Hi Becky. Your room is absolutely beautiful. I love how romantic it is. It just dawned on me that I have been a follower of your blog for sometime, but haven't gotten around to visit, so kind of forgot about it. I'm really sorry as I'm sure I've missed a lot of pretties. Will be catching up shortly..Happy Weekend..Judy
Hi Becky,
Your bedroom is amazing! I love the bed And the plaque on it is the perfect touch.
I also love the pillows -I have a couple of small ones the same and was happy to find a shower curtain of the same fabric at a thrift shop, now I can make some big ones like yours.
Hope you had lots of fun with the grandbabies.
Thank you for your sweet comments-nice to hear from you.

Hi Becky! I love your beautiful pictures, and imagine it has to be extremely difficult to keep a blog going. My issue is that I'm very technologically challenged and like to be able to keep track of the beautiful articles, say like cutting out magazine articles. But if there is no obvious pin button or if its not on their Pinterest site I feel discouraged because I have no way to hold those beautiful pictures in my mind, or life! Sorry, this was in response to the discouragement you feel when feeling no one may be appreciating . Thank you so much.
Hi Rebecca! I'm so glad that I found your blog! I love the ruffly romantic feel you've created in your adorable home! I think if I could build a house, it would look just like yours! :) I'm your newest follower and look forward to visiting here for some sweet chicness!
